The Bergen C series was introduced in 2001 by Rolls Royce to replace the K series Bergen engine. Although the C series is a compact engine, it is still very powerful. The Bergen C25:33 has a 250mm bore, and a power range from 1,440 – 3,000 kW. The Bergen C series is simpler and more robust than the K series. It has a very stable electrical frequency and a low vibration and structural noise level, due to the mounting.
Thanks to the design of the engine, when necessary, we are able to replace the liner, the piston (including the upper con rod) and the cylinder head without moving the big end bearing.
Simplex can supply bearings and fuel injection equipment suitable for these engines.
The following are the Bergen engine series that we – as a customer option fit – supply centrifuges for OE installation:
C25:33 Series (Diesel) | 6, 8, 9 L | 750 to 1200 | 1400 – 2600 |
