Bergen K

Components suitable for* Rolls Royce Bergen K diesel and gas engines

Models of the Bergen K series that Simplex cover include the K, KRM, KRMB, KRG, KVG, KVM, KRGS and KVGS. We place priority on keeping high stock levels in order to react quickly to our customer’s needs.

The Rolls Royce Bergen K engine was developed from the L range, and was first manufactured in the 1960s. Production has now ceased, and the K series has been replaced by the C series. They have a rigid crankcase, a design which results in two advantages: first a reduction in deformations, and second a good main bearing alignment.

The power output is from 1215-2005 kW.

The engine is very robust and has proved popular in the offshore industry as well as on land-based power generation sites, including gas fired engines.
